Neil H. Sather, 70, Of Ontario, Calif., died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at Woods Health Services at Hillcrest.

He was born in Valley City, N.D. He was a resident of Slidell for over 30 years and returned to Ontario in 2005. He worked as a manager for UPS for more than 30 years in both California and Louisiana.

He is survived by his two sons and their wives, Christian Sather and his wife Tyler of Slidell and Troy Sather and his wife Cybil of Smyrna, Ga.; his mother, Magdalena Sather, 94, of Kula, Hawaii; two sisters, Patricia Kriner of Mount Shasta, Calif., and Guida Anderson of Kula; five grandchildren, Caitlyn, Megan, Rehm, Ava and Ella. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sather and his father, Christian O. Sather.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend the visitation from 5-8 p.m. Monday, at Todd Memorial Chapel, 570 North Garey Ave., Pomona, Calif. A graveside ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pomona Valley Memorial Park at 502 East Franklin Avenue, Pomona.
