Honors List Dean’s Lists Missouri State University Jessica B. Mueller of Mandeville was named to the Missouri State University Dean’s list for fall 2009. For undergraduate students, criteria include enrollment in at least 12 credit hours during the fall semester and at least a 3.50 grade point average (on a 4.00 scale). Of the 15,270 degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled during the Fall 2009 semester, 3,645 earned a spot on the list. Rhodes College Slidell resident William A. Wagstaff was named to the Rhodes College Dean’s List for the 2009 fall semester. To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must be enrolled in at least 16 credit hours of academic work and must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.70 or better. Founded in 1848, Rhodes is a private, coeducational college of liberal arts and sciences. It aspires to graduate students with a lifelong passion for learning, a compassion for others, and the ability to translate academic study and personal concern into effective leadership and action in their communities and the world. Samford University St. Tammany Parish students named to the Dean’s List at Samford University in Birmingham, Ala., are: Kaley Ann Blanton, Covington; Alexandra Elise Edwards, Covington; Joie Linelle Campeaux, Madisonville; Kyle Michael Kehoe, Madisonville; and Stacey Michelle Burnett, Slidell. To qualify for the honor, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. The Dean’s List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester. Virginia Tech Ian A. Clark of Slidell was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2009 semester at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must attempt at least 12 credit hours graded on the A-F option and earn a 3.4 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) during the semester. President’s List Northwestern State University Four hundred thirty-one students at Northwestern State University of Louisiana have been named to the President’s List for the Fall 2009 semester, according to NSU President Dr. Randall J. Webb. Students on the President’s List must be enrolled full-time at Northwestern and make A’s in all academic courses pursued.
