Kathryn and Robert Weatherford of Breaux Bridge announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Staci Ann Weatherford, to Matthew Nathan Teadt of Lafayette, son of Troy and Heidi Teadt of Slidell. The nuptial Mass will be celebrated April 10, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Lafayette followed by a reception at Fezzo’s III in Scott.

Weatherford, whose mother is the former Kathryn Brasseaux of Carencro, graduated from Mesa High School in Mesa, Ariz., in 2006 and attends the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she will receive a degree in general studies with an emphasis in business. She is employed by Lafayette Utilities System as an engineering aide.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Berlin Brasseaux of Carencro, Beverly Weatherford of Breaux Bridge and the late Troy Weatherford.

Matthew Teadt and Staci Weatherford

Teadt, whose mother is the former Heidi Reznick of Phoenix, is a graduate of Slidell High School in 2005 and UL-L where he received a bachelor’s degree in mass communication in media advertising. He is employed by Tower Loans as a financial manager.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Reznick of Phoenix, Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Sandy) Caylor of Reserve, N.M., Laura Teadt of Phoenix and the late Ted Teadt.�
