Northshore cruises past Hammond

Northshore’s Lady Panthers downed the Hammond Lady Tornadoes 15-0 in a district game held Monday at NHS. Northshore (9-2-1) is 2-1 in district.

Carley Short went 2-for-3 with three runs batted in, while Kasi Wood and Haylee Lanzas posted two hits and a run batted in each. Kayla Panks was 1-for-2 with an RBI. Kate Donnely doubled twice. Christina Hart doubled and Kristin Gekler was 1-for-1. She was also the winning pitcher.

Pearl River

blanks Riverdale

Pearl River’s Abby Maillet tossed a five-inning no hitter with three strikeouts, helping her team defeat Riverdale 10-0 in a district road contest held Thursday in a battle of Lady Rebels.

Maillet and Katie Hebert both singled and doubled, while Heather Polk homered for PRHS.
