Krewe of Eve presents royal court for parade

The Krewe of Eve presented their Royal Court for the 2009 Mardi Gras season at their general membership meeting Dec. 3.

Reigning as Queen Eve XXIII will be Kimberly D. Murphy. A resident of Mandeville since 1996, Murphy is from Chaumont, N.Y. She has been married to John Murphy for 21 years and is the mother of two sons, Daniel and Jarrod. Murphy has been a member of the Krewe of Eve for 10 years.

Reigning as King Adam XXIII is John Murphy. Originally from Syracuse, N.Y., he moved to Mandeville in 1996. He is a past member of Orpheus.

Serving as royal maids and dukes this year are: Cathy and Jimmy Aime of Hammond. Julie and James Breland of Ponchatoula, Mary and York Ingram of Hammond, Marija LaSalle and John Guidry of Mandeville.

Junior maids are Catherine Casanova, daughter of Cindy and William Casanova of Mandeville; Madison Dugger, daughter of Sheila and Mitch Dugger of Mandeville; Paige Gresell, daughter of Elizabeth and Mark Gresell of Mandeville; Kristin Hein, daughter of Maxine and Allen Hein of The Woodlands, Texas; Kaitlyn Loyacano, daughter of Natalie and Kerry Loyacano of Mandeville; Randilynn Schehr, daughter of Kimberly and Steven Schehr of Mandeville; Elizabeth Neyhart, daughter of Lisa and Thomas Neyhart of Hammond; and Angelle Ulfers, daughter of Lori and Ron Ulfers of Covington.

Pages to Her Royal Majesty are: Abigail Anger, granddaughter of Noel and Joe Bitner of Mandeville and the late Richard Schiro; Gracyn Griffin, daughter of Jessica and Alec Griffin of Mandeville; and Nicole Kluchin, daughter of Suzie and Ronald Kluchin of Covington.

Pages to His Royal Majesty are: S. Michael Seenappa, son of Stephanie and Sridhar Seenappa of Mandeville; Hayden Wilkinson, grandson of Joyce Talbott of Mandeville; Thomas Williams, son of Dionne and Noel Williams Jr. and Mandeville.

Grand Marshal is Willie Paretti.

The Krewe of Eve will follow the traditional Mandeville parade route at 7 p.m. Feb. 13.
