Stop, Drop, Rock N Roll while Haulin'€™ Ash cancelled

The Stop Drop Rock ‘N Roll and Haulin’ Ash fundraisers to benefit the Covington Fire Department set for Saturday have been cancelled due to the unpredictability and possible bad weather from Hurricane Ike.

Karen Whiteside, coordinator of the events, said they will be rescheduled for the spring. Anyone who has pre-registered for the race can contact Diane Weiss at 893-3684 or (504) 460-2991 for a refund of their race registration fees.
