PJP chooses Jeanmard to lead football team Chris Kinkaid Pope John Paul II has named Mark Jeanmard its new football coach. He replaces Chris Lachney, who resigned last month. Jeanmard, a 1991 graduate of Redemptorist, comes over after spending the last three years as an offensive coordinator at Metairie Park Country Day. The announcement was made this afternoon. Jeanmard said knows about PJP football since Country Day has scrimmaged against the Jags previously. "I’m very familiar with the program. I’ve always been very impressed with the kids when we played them," Jeanmard said. "They were always physical, they worked hard and they listened to their coaches when I was on the other side, so that’s very important."
