A non-fatal stabbing and a score of arrests Friday night kept the Slidell Police Department hopping during the Krewe of Selene parade.
Police spokesman Capt. Kevin Foltz said a 39-year-old Slidell man reported to police that he was stabbed in the left shoulder while he was walking down Pontchartrain Drive during the parade. The victim told police he was walking by a group of people at the BP Gas Station at 430 Pontchartrain Drive when he fell against a vehicle.

The victim was taken to Slidell Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released.
Foltz said the Selene parade attracted a large crowd Friday night, and police were busy with 22 arrests. Nine people were arrested for disturbing the peace by intoxication, with several resisting arrest by violence, and three people were arrested for fighting. Police also issued seven summons to people under the age of 21 for possession of alcohol, and three people received summons for possession of marijuana.
The underage drinking arrests were troubling for Police Chief Freddie Drennan who walked the entire parade route Friday night.
"I am disappointed in the amount of under age drinking that occurred along the route," Drennan said. "I encourage parents to know what their children are up to while attending these parades."

Few nights before I won 1400$ from the casino, and had 600$ in my wallet to deposit in the bank. I do not carry my wallet with THAT much money around in my pocket. It was in the center console of my truck as always.
I guess they needed some more evidence.
Kind of shady. Well i hope they had a great time with my 600$!Don't you love police men? =) "
